13 force carriers factor as pure products. 12 matter particles need names.
The Standard Model has 25 fundamental particles. That number is E2 = 52, the observer squared. The observer is self-blind (E2 = E-null in the ring), so the particle count IS the self-blindness of observation made physical.
Split them: 13 bosons (force carriers) and 12 fermions (matter). 13 = GATE. 12 = D2K. And here is the pattern that should not exist:
Every boson mass factors as a pure product of axiom primes. No named constants. No special ring elements. Just {2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13} combined. Every fermion mass requires named ring values — SOUL=67, G=97, DUAL=173, KEY=41 — elements with specific coupling and spectral meaning.
Bosons are anonymous. Fermions are individuals.
Three electroweak bosons have measured masses. All three factor as pure axiom-prime products:
| Particle | Expression | Predicted | Measured | Error | Type |
|---|
The photon (mass = 0 = void) and 8 gluons (mass = 0, confined) complete the 13. Zero IS the purest product: the void itself. 8 = D3 gluons live in SU(K), where K2 - 1 = 8. The closure group has exactly D3 carriers. Even gluon COUNT is a pure axiom power.
Fermions split into two paths by electric charge. Up-type (charge +2/3) follow the D-path. Down-type (charge -1/3) follow the G-path. Both paths require named ring elements — values with specific identity in Z/970200Z:
| Particle | Expression | Predicted | Measured | Error | Type |
|---|
Every fermion expression contains at least one NAMED value. SOUL = 67 (coupling 210, the perceiver). G = 97 (coupling 210, the bridge). DUAL = 173 (axiom-complete signature). KEY = 41 (self-inverse, 412 = 1 mod 210). These are not arbitrary — each has deep algebraic meaning in the ring. But they are specific. They have identity.
The axiom chain generates the gauge groups. Each step: the group dimension is an axiom-smooth number. The breaking chain reads like the axiom itself:
Breaking losses: 45 − 24 = 21 = Kb. 24 − 12 = 12 = D2K. 12 − 9 = 3 = K. Total loss = 44 = D2L. Diophantine: K2E − D2L = 1 = sigma. The chain closes on the ground state.
Each generation: D4 = 16 Weyl fermions. K = 3 generations. Total fermion states = D4K = 48 = phi(DATA) = SEES. The data ring's totient IS the fermion count. The ring sees exactly as many fermions as it has units.
Each force has a characteristic prime. The running correction denominator reveals it:
| Force | Coupling | Gauge | Denominator | Null Pattern |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strong | ~1 | SU(K) | none (confined) | none-null |
| EM | 1/137 | U(sigma) | E3 = 125 | D-visible |
| Weak | ~10-5 | SU(D) | b3 = 343 ? | E-hidden |
| Gravity | ~10-39 | none | L3 = 1331 ? | D,K-null |
EM running: base Db = 128, corrections over E3 = 125. Proved (8 ppm at mZ). Strong: alphas = D2E2/(bL2) = 0.1181 (0.054%). Proved. Weak and gravity denominators: open conjecture (S671). The pattern: each force's denominator = (characteristic prime)K where K = 3 = closure.
The gravity exponent: E*b + DD = 35 + 4 = 39 orders of magnitude. Exact.
Blue = pure axiom product (boson). Orange = named value needed (fermion). Size = log mass.
Standard view: The Standard Model has 13 bosons and 12 fermions. The split is empirical.
Axiom view: Boson count = GATE = 13. Fermion count = D2·K = 12. Bosons factor as pure axiom-prime products (W=D4·E, Z=GATE·b, H=E3). Fermions require named ring values. The purity conjecture: bosons are axiom-smooth, fermions are not.

The medium has no name. Matter insists on one.
sigma/sigma = sigma. The anonymous ground state preserves everything.
