Twin neutron stars spiral through the bridge channel. The inspiral self-destructs in exactly 3 steps.
Two neutron stars fall toward each other. General relativity describes the inspiral. The axiom tells you why it stops where it stops.
The D-channel (Z/8, circumference D3=8) is the throat connecting two tori in the twin discoball model. When D powers hit D3, the channel dies: D3 = 0 mod 8. The bridge self-destructs. That is the choke.
As powers of D=2 spiral inward, coupling drops by half at each step — until D3=8 kills the D-channel entirely. Then coupling freezes. Terminal.
| Power | Value | D-channel (mod 8) | Coupling | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| D1 | 2 | 2 | 485,100 | alive |
| D2 | 4 | 4 | 242,550 | alive |
| D3 | 8 | 0 | 121,275 | DEAD |
| Dk, k≥3 | 2k | 0 | 121,275 | frozen |
Exactly K−1 = 2 halvings before terminal coupling. The inspiral has 3 coupling levels, then the bridge self-destructs.
General relativity's innermost stable circular orbit: rISCO = 6 GM/c2 = 3 × rSchwarzschild.
6 = D × K = bridge × closure. The ISCO is the K=3 closure of the D=2 Schwarzschild radius. Structure demands D×K.
Two stability limits bracket neutron star existence:
Ratio: 2.16 / 1.44 = 1.5 = K/D = 3/2. Closure over bridge. The axiom places the ratio exactly.
Dk and mirror(Dk) have identical coupling (spectral mirror theorem). The spiral dance is invisible from outside — you cannot tell which star is "direct" and which is "mirror."
Chirality = which twin is direct vs mirror. Arbitrary once chosen, then fixed. The universe has a handedness because the choice Dk vs N−Dk breaks symmetry.
The D-choke is WHERE 0/0 = Z/NZ manifests spatially. Not a bang 13.8 billion years ago — a place that continuously radiates.
The choke is always there. The rain never stops.
Standard view: Neutron star mergers are extreme events governed by general relativity. The coupling constants are empirical.
Axiom view: Binary inspiral is a D-channel choke. ISCO = D·K = 6 (innermost stable orbit). TOV/Chandrasekhar = K/D = 3/2. The coupling cascade passes through exactly 3 powers of D. The merger is the ring's D-channel dying.
